Bomba de Tiempo and Giorgio’s House

On Monday during the breakfast hours and Dominic Benoit, and Maija Reeta, Lynette (some of our super Guests at Giorgio’s House Bed and Breakfast Buenos Aires) and I organized the day’s plan.
Each one had his ideas and plans to visit Buenos Aires according to their cultural interests and adventure style 😉  .

Some decided to visit Puerto Madero, others wanted to rent a bike and see the park walk through Palermo and some other decided to visit Avenida Corrientes.

And at night? What plan for the ? – I asked with curiosity.
They did not know that Buenos Aires on Monday you can also have some action during the night! 🙂

The night before, Sunday, we went to the local championship of tango dancers and tango dancers foreigners…it was great 🙂
But on Monday we still had a lot of energy to spend. so…the best way to start the week was in an…”Explosive Way” 😉 The time bomb : La Bomba de Tiempo!!!! :).

It’s not the first time i go and i always love it cause I love percussions. Here you can see another experience we had 🙂 ..At Giorgio’s house we have Djembè, Congas etc…so…everybody can play and have fun all together 🙂 I cannot forget the smiles of my guests as I explained them the plan I had in my mind . 😀
Every Monday is a holiday. Hundreds of young and not so young people gather to listen to the drums djembes, congas and dance   to the rhythm of African percussion, Brazilian, Uruguayan rhythms from the heart …. the good Latin.

We took the subway at the corner in front of Giorgio’s House  (Line A) and stopped at the station Loria, then walked 10 blocks to the meeting point: Konex.
This place more than a decade ago was   a factory , one of the several factories that went bankrupt during the crisis period of 2001,…now it became: the  Mega Centro de Arte alternative interactive and participatory culture.

The show started on time very rare in Latin America, and we all started to feel the vibration of the drums with different melodies invited us to a Dionysian ritual dance, as in the ancient tribes, like the current culture of Bahia in Brazil .
A very profound experience for those who let in the sound of percussion on the body and soul.
After the show of percussion, we were exhausted and with a very positive energy. Energy that quickly changed in: I WANT TO EAT SOME MEAT! 🙂
That’s why we took the bus number 36 and we drove to a rustic grill near Giorgio’s House to enjoy a barbecue with some super good red wine.

We returned to the house 01.30 am.

We were all tired from so much adrenaline experienced and excited to have enjoyed a bomb Monday. : D
